Should I use this script?
-------------------------

This script will detect and either strip or convert a user programmed
string of data. It is designed to allow 5 seperate strings to be enabled
simultaneously. The data strings may consist of escape sequences, text,
or any other string of data which may be received through the com port.



How do I install EMULATE4.WAX?
----------------------------

Copy EMULATE4.WAS to your ASPECT directory and compile it.


How do I run EMULATE4.WAX?
------------------------

From the Action Bar:

1)  Click on the Script File drop down menu.
2)  Select EMULATE4.

From the Menu Bar:

1)  Click on Scripts.
2)  Click on Run.
3)  Select EMULATE4.WAX.
4)  Click on OK.

NOTE:  If EMULATE4.WAX does not appear in the Script File drop down
       list, you might have a different default ASPECT path.  To
       change the path, go to Setup | Data | Data Options | Paths
       and change the path to /Program Files/Procomm Plus/ASPECT directory.


Additional Information:
------------------------

When you execute EMULATE4.WAX, it places an additional item on your menu bar.
It will be an "Emulator" Option. Under that menu item, you can either configure
the script, or exit from it.

Configuration Options are:

For each of the 5 sequences that the user wants to trap, they can specify the
string, turn off that trap, choose to strip it so that it does not show up on 
the screen, or convert it to another string. If this last option is chosen, the 
user will be allowed to enter a replacement string in the second editbox.

  Clear Fields: This will clear any user input from the fields.
Set as Default: This saves the entered values as the default.
         Start: This will close the dialog box, and begin looking for specified 
                sequences to be received.
   Exit Script: Allows user to exit from the script.
 Emulator Help: Shows a dialog that tells the user how to use EMULATE4.
 Load Defaults: This loads previously saved values from a configuration file that
                is created when the user clicks on "Set as Default."
